    Hello,

I’ve recently been forced to upgrade (sic) to Windows 11 and now Envisioneer is unable to save any projects.

They all open OK, but report the directory is inaccessible when you try to save.

I’ve tried a multitude of different locations, but everything appears to be locked for saving.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the fix?

FYI: Other programmes do not appear to be effected.

    Thanks

Hi, you may need to edit the access rights to the folder you are saving to or create a new folder.

Double check that you have access to the default folder Envisioneer saves files to, or you can change the folder to a new one here:
Settings, Program Settings , for the “Projects Directory or “Temp Directory” file paths to the folders with have granted access

Or  update the access rights for the Cadsoft folders to have read/write privileges.

    How to change it:
Go to your windows file explorer>local disk c:/ >program files>Cadsoft>right click on the Envisioneer 17 folder>properties>uncheck read only box
Next select the security tab> edit> check the box to allow full control for each profile>apply ok

Repeat these steps for the Local disk>Program Data>Cadsoft>Envisioneer 16 folder
As well as the My Documents folder>Envisioneer 16 and Projects folder
