Is there a way to create a breeze block wall (like shown)with a transparent background?

I have tried with a specific pink colour (can’t remember it now) that is supposed to create transparency but never got it to work.

Just don’t try to search for “transparent”!
    but maybe Louisa should . . . .
I presume you’re just using a jpg or gif?
Set the openings to Magenta but I can’t remember the RGB, sry

there isn’t one in the envisioneer catalog but you can make it in Sketch Up then import it. You can also find a breeze wall in the Sketch Up 3D warehouse where you can then customize it then import that.

    Hi
After changing the openinigs to the transparent magenta colour, save as a .BMP or .PNG
The transparent RGB magenta colour code is 255,0, 255.

Hope you try again, Jack.  That’d be a nice tidbit to file away for future use.

Or maybe “the attachment” was just the partial magenta paint in the pic?

I successfully used the sketchup warehouse method. Thanks everyone for your input. When the need arises again I’ll try the magenta method.  I couldn’t get it to work for me last time

Works good for example of GrassCrete, although the layout isn’t exactly correct. I can apply it to slab then add another slab that is thinner and assign gravel for fill in voids or grass.

make sure you ‘check’ make magenta color transparent, when you add the bmp to your materials catalog.
I just right clicked and added new material folder for ‘landscape’ , then added bmp. Then assigned and named the new materail , checking box.

and finally, because forum will not allow multiple uploads of images, this is the bmp used.
Download it. Put it in your materials folder. I have one on second hard drive. Add it to your materials options. I made new folder named Landscape. Actually jackLandscape. Made sure check box was done. And it is now set for assigning to any project.
