    Hello everyone,

I’m building a trailer-mounted tiny house and I’d like to add a trailer to replace the foundations. Do you have any idea how I should go about this?

    Thanks in advance.

Envisioneer can import a .skp file. If you search in the 3D warehouse for a trailer base you may find one.
Here are examples from the sample search: https://embed-3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search/?q=tiny%20home%20trailer&searchTab=model

Chantale has the best solution BUT, in the olden days you modified what you were given.

So go to Landscape tab on top. Then pick fountain icon  for exterior accessories. Then under vehicles pick the SUV.

Finally select the SUV placed in drawing. Go to ‘right click ‘ properties Basic. On bottom you see Display. On top of pop up select 3D.

Then drill down and leave the 4 and 5 eye on, All the rest off excet for the 4-8 from the bottom on.

You get wheels and a base. Add a member for the tow bar.

Fun stuff to do with Envisioneer 🙂

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answers.
When I submitted my message, I had included a .skp file which was not downloaded, which is a shame.

Once the file has been imported, how can I build on it?

Should I use the zimmer method?

    Thanks in advance.

If you import the .skp file of the trailer you just select the whole tiny house and elevate it to rest on the trailer.

Same concept goes with using the SUV.

May be helpful to create a new building location that is raised and put the tiny house on it. Leave the trailer on grade.
