I’m having problems with the work sheet views when I want to redefine a view.

I define the work sheet view correctly and import onto the worksheet and then add some cad work.

I decide I want to redefine the view to show some particualr element.

I hit the redifine button but when I’m returned to the the worksheet redefinie window, my view is not the same as when I first sent the view. Most of time, the window is showing about half of the view. I have to stretch it bqck out and I try to reposition the view but can’t get it it just right and as a result when I update the view on the work sheet moves and has to be repostioned. I watched the instructional vidieos and I’m doing everything right as far as I can tell but my result is quite different.

Does anyone else have this problem?

When you add some “cad work”, is that on the worksheet involved or back in the model?
Is this a 2D plan view? elevation? section?
Are you able to post a screen-clip?

Always. I’ve gotten to the point where I will draft an insertion point on the worksheet so when the updated view is re-inserted to a new position, I can easily grab it and put it back to its original spot.
