Object snap

SFloridaParticipantIs there a way to insert one wall to another wall without the inserted wall automatically snapping to the existing wall? I do have the object snap turned off but the inserted wall will still snap to the existing wall.
January 18, 2021 at 2:35 pm #13545SDSParticipantI adjust the wall by length instead of grabbing the endpoint and dragging it to the other wall.
Find the length of wall needed to fit the space, without snapping to an intersection, then select the wall to adjust and then click on it’s displayed length and change it to the length needed.
Optionally…set your ‘Nudge’ to a 1/16″ and ‘bump the wall into place against the opposing wall, without snapping to intersection…then drag the other end to where you need it.
