items in catalog to all be closed when starting up

How do you get all the items in the catalog side panel to be closed/calapsed when you start up a new project? When ever i go through and close them all; the next time I open up a new phase like walls the same items are back open again?

FynrDzynrParticipantWhy not collapse all your groups in Element Manager then edit one element?
Your catalogue should then be saved “as is”

I tried that and it did not work either. I know there is a way becaseu I remember years agao someone asking the same thing during a webinar, I just cannot remember how to do it.

louisacoModeratorFile>catalogs>element manager>close all subfolders before you close the larger folders.
and
Close the sub folders/large folders in the catalog panel, save your project file. When you open your project again the folders should be closed except for the first one. - AuthorPosts
