Cadsoft showed off Envisioneer in the new West building at the International Builders Show in Vegas. Fun to take Musk Boring Company Tesla car trip from the Central building to the West building.

It was the most attended show in the last 10 years, and the Envisioneer staff was extremely busy.  Nice to see them after the forced shutdown years.

Attached is my attempt to test Envisioneers ability to recreate the Bellagio Hotel and building surrounding the ‘fountain lake’.  Didn’t have time to experiment showing the fountain but was quite pleased with the results Envisioneer provided.

Photo of Bellagio is attached, which helped create the model without having plans. Also used a variety of Bing / Google map images.

The Renders show the Front / Left and Right results.

    Fun project 🙂

Hi Conrad,    Nice to have your comment.

I started this in 2019, then some stuff hit the fan. Dusted it off in December and finished.

It was hard to get scale down. Hard to get good images.  But once I defined locations settings, not too bad.

The Bellagio was done after picking a window size. 8’x12′ and 8’x8′.  I made the left bank, added 8×12 windows and then duplicated to new locations for each floor. The white band came next, a 10′ high crown molding. Back to duplicating the first floor to 4th and resizing widows to 8×8′. Duplicate this floor up to total 8.

Now just Mirrow Image all the floors to create left of center bay, then left and left of center Mirrow to create whole right side. A center circle acted as pivot point for Mirrow. Then add center curved wall and roof.

The hardest part was how to detail the little part on top of all the domes. Can’t do a mini dome roof there.

So, it was like finding Gold when I came across the green top of the attached.

    Jack,

    Yeah I bet it was.

Well it looks great! I always thought it would be fun playing with something like that and just seeing what you can do but I never had the time and it seems the longer it goes the less time I have.

    Thanks a lot for sharing!
