    Hello all!

I’ve recently upgraded from V.9 to 15 pro architect.

Haven’t used the system since 2014.

When i open new project the templates pop up.

One of them being the g. Slab on Grade Construction.

Are any of you aware of a video tutorial on using that particular template?

    Thank you.

    Hi Dave,

The Slab on Grade Template uses the Building Locations to adjust the position of the locations so they sit closer to the terrain. This would make the slab portion sit 4″ above the terrain and you could have a stem wall sitting 4′ below the terrain should you need a stem wall. If a stem wall is not required you can add the footing manually on the ground floor location so it sits under the slab. You can also adjust the Foundation Building Location to suit the construction style required for your area.

If there is something specific you required help with in this template, please just let us know.

    Thanks Dave.

The foundation building location in the template is set to have 4′ stem walls and concrete  ground floor, instead of a full basement and framed floor like the first new construction template. You can use the building locations to change this as Nick mentioned.
