3D Blank

Cadsoft AdministratorKeymasterEverything was fine, i changed a beam to log went into view in 3D and now my 3D version is Blank. It just shows the background of the sky. 2D still has all the detail. What happened to 3D???
October 1, 2017 at 2:42 am #9417MalParticipantHi Deb, make a copy of your drawing and in one copy of the drawing delete the log and see if the 3D comes back. If it does you know the log has a problem. Make a new log and try again.
If 3D does not come back, keep deleting items until the 3D does show.
If this does not help you find the problem, you still have a copy of your drawing not changed.

October 1, 2017 at 9:00 am #9416Cadsoft AdministratorKeymasterOnce I got rid of the log my furniture and fixtures went back to their own names while the log was there every thing was named log and had the log properties.
I still, all of a sudden, have no 3D for this drawing, my 3D works for everything else.

FynrDzynrParticipantHave you tried Repair Project (under the File menu)?
Have you tried Zoom to Fit while in a 3D View?
It sounds as if your log was scaled incorrectly (maybe 96x real life size). That’s why everything you tried to select actually selected the log.
