That is one of my designs for Mustang Island Texas from 2013,
I think if plans / sections etc are working OK for you, made from scratch, that you are both wasting time and potentailly screwing up your graphic card settings.
I am running a GTX 970 and have similar results as you do and both your card and mine are adequate. I have no issues with current models (even some from v11 that are still functioning.
But 4 yrs ago the program was not the same as it is today. It still may work but in the background it has to do too much ‘thinking’.
I am no expert on graphic cards or programing, but I’d say move on to a more current design.

    Debbie,
Attached is quick Barrel Clg using a roof. I didn’t reduce the overhang so the white soffit is showing.
The ‘gable ends’ DO NOT have the drop down I mentioned above. That happens when using ceilings.
I will also post v13 Ceiling which now has better options for Barrel Clg using Ceiling tools.

    Hi Debbie,
If you use a roof by pick points and or in a new location (set to be the height of ceiling) you can edit the roof to create a barrel shape. Because it is ‘thin’ you just assign an underside material to the ceiling texture.
Two sides of the roof are set to ‘arched’ the two ends to gable. You will get an ‘end ‘wall’ ‘ where the gables occur , but the main length will represent the barrel affect.
I think my roof training videos still apply to versions 12 and even 13. If you wish I can send you a list of what is covered. They are $40 and over two hours of videos on basic to advanced roofs.
Envisioneer roofs are the greatest !

     Hi Debbie,
If you follow the methods of Arched Brackets for Post Frame Construction on Envisioneers You Tube site, you could actually make your own 3D ‘member’ , save it to catalog for future use.
You could then insert the member. Give it depth and elevate it up into the arched transom.
You need to import your door with blank transom to worksheet. Then follow the tips in the video on created one continuous closed polyline. Save it into members as a custom shape and then insert it in drawing.
It takes a while but is kind of fun to do, good to learn and once done the same detail could be used again without remaking it.
    Hope the URL listed works.

    Hi Debbie,
You cannot assign an image to the transom getting sunburst affect as it also assigns the same image to the side lights.
You can get the basic layout with settings but the transom can only have vertical mullions (3 shown in attachment).
If you leave the transom off, you can insert an arched ‘window’ sized to become the transom. Elevate it above the door and move it into position. That ‘glass’ could them be assigned a texture (image) of a sunburst detail.

I did this years ago. What you do is draw out a wall the length of your house and  import the image to your materials. Then assign it to the wall making sure your ‘resize’ the image to fit the wall.
Anything you draw ‘in front’ of the wall will give the effect of being in front of the house.

    Hi John,
I am not familar with Virtural Architect program but the attached link is to a video showing how to use ‘auto extend’ to get an automatic sloped wall in loft area.
Maybe it will be of help.
Please post the company that makes Virtual Architect.

Use Roof by Pick Points. It is in the drop down next to the Roof Tool icon.

Install download and install worked great directly from the program ‘check for update’ option.

I had same issue, not viewable but the other image uploaded of the exterior.
This is Lakeside interior view renamed ‘Lakeside.jpg’.  But I assume it is not a downloadable file, but a ‘comment image’ option.

I will try another in the next post I make and see if it works.

I do not agree with the decsion to redo the forum in this format. It is a disaster.
Users not only enjoy the input of other users, it becomes a community which strengthens the abitlites of all to create.
There will never be enough online videos or support staff to handle all the questions.
This forum makes it hard to post / edit , nothing is organized in a readable fashion. I see no dates. I see no sections for posting work images as opposed to questions.
It is not working. Bad decision.
