    And also if I do use the gable wall it gives this dumb line where two walls meet

    Then how do you do a wall fill in between two roof that extend out over a porch

    Oh forgot to add and when you delete it your elevation drawings stink because there’s a wall missing do you know of another way to do this.??

    Yes Merv,

    I totally agree I am also not fond of the fact when you do use a gable wall it shows it going through you’re floor plan and the only way I figured out to get rid of it is delete it. It would be great if it would documented on a roof plan. maybe that’s something they could change in future updates.

    Hi SDS,

    I’m no professional but what i’d do is delete them out of my floor plan view put in a note  (window b above) but don’t delete it in model view delete it in worksheet view then it will still be on the window schedule or that’s how I do it

    Yup you are correct that’s what was wrong. Thanks for your help FynrDzynr I missed that. Not sure why, but i had a hard time logging into my account the last couple days did not let me reply to this.

    Ok  I just thought it looks like that settings goes to the outside of the stud and not to the outside of the 3/4″ OSB sheeting.
