Hi … Yes, I used zoom to box the width of the home in that elevation view to include only the extents of the home (top left, bottom right). The s/w must then impose some kind of ‘sky box’ or apsect ratio requirement as the inserted image then has added vertical extent (green box). This occurs either if the scene is set to bottom-left justified (10x height buffer to top) or centered (5x height buffers on top & bottom – – as shown). Can’t get rid of box??
p.s. the reason I chose image over active drawing was because I wanted to plot rendered cross section images, as they clearly show where walls are, thus when printed on foam core make cutting out walls (visually) easier. This also works to add context to either outside (e.g., bricks) or inside (e.g., floor/wall colors). Additionally, the printed images can add color/content to the otherwise plain white foam core (or cardboard) 3D model.
