Camera stuck in a death spin

    Never had an issue like this one. Not sure how to get out of this. Would not recommend using a hotkey to walk around (default is control) as that’s how this happened. Cannot interact with the software at all. just a heads up for others. (can’t upload video; it’s too large)

     

    Also wtf is even the point of backups? they don’t seem to save as frequently as they should & seem pointless. They’ve never saved anything useful & even though I have the autosave set for every half hour, they only backup every couple of hours, which does nothing for me

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Were you using the hotkey in Presentation Mode for VR walk through when this happened? And which key are you using as a hotkey instead of the default Ctrl?
    If you’re able to, feel free to send the video to [email protected] so we can take a closer look.

    Backups should update every time the file is saved—whether it’s a manual save or an autosave. By default, the software creates two .bkp files: one will reflect the most recent save, and the other will be a version just before that. If it’s not working as expected, we’d be happy to take a closer look at your settings with you.
