In May and June Cadsoft is introducing new training options. Tailored to client requests, Cadsoft will now offer a new selection of Online Interactive Training courses and new Full Day Class options.
Online Interactive Training
Cadsoft has, for a long time, offered webinar training. A good option for those with a busy schedule. Shorter time commitment but still a good structured setting. What makes the new Online Interactive Training unique is that it is more of a virtual classroom environment. This new format puts a group of students together and let’s them interact with the instructor. Following guided instructions from the trainer, the students are invited to ask questions both orally or using the chat options. Everyone works individually on a project to be submitted at the end of the class so the Instructor can review the material and give personalized feedback for best next steps. A 2-hour class is a nice short time commitment but it comes with a wealth of information. Check out the selection of classes available:
Model Building – May 29th
Rendering and VR – May 30th
Working Drawings – May 31st
Estimating – June 1st
New Full Day Class options
Immersing yourself into a full day of training is a great way to ensure you are not distracted from your regular work day when committing to learning.
At Cadsoft we have added two new options to our full day class schedule:
Model Building/Rendering/VR – June 11th
This class concentrates on how to build a good model using the walls, doors, windows, openings, floor, ceiling and roof tools. Using structured examples, the attendees build a model while learning key tips and tricks offered during the lessons. Once the model is complete it is then used to produce photo realistic renderings and VR experiences. Attendees come away understanding effective model building methods and the settings and options available to produce good renderings and experiences.
Working Drawings and Estimating – June 12th
Using a model provided, this class will dive into how to produce a professional set of working drawings and a material report from Envisioneer. In the first part of the class the attendees will learn how to use various dimensioning and text tools, produce a variety of elevation types, learn how to add more details to their 2D views and insert a variety of views when creating working drawing sets. In the later part of the class, attendees will concentrate on understanding how materials are added to the material list. How to manipulate the quantities of the materials using formulas and how the framing and trim components are quantified. A great day of learning for anyone that uses Envisioneer for working drawings and estimating.
