Vaulted Gable Challenge

SDSParticipantI’ve tried to do a vaulted gable-end on occasion and have never been able to do it. Example pic attached.
Break a wall at the vault peak…then…
You have to elevate a wall to the vault peak in order to slope its bottom…but then you can’t slope the top properly to the roof. The dialogs don’t accept negative values.
You can’t slope a wall’s bottom UP…only DOWN from it’s insertion elevation
You can’t slope a wall’s top DOWN…only UP from it’s wall height.Gable surfaces won’t recognize a vaulted ceiling and slope to it, neither will a gable wall
What am I missing here?

Is this what you were talking about. I set the wall to auto extend break the wall in the middle. and then just figure out figure out how much rise there is with your bottom pitch elevate your wall (more direction in pic below) that distant and presto you’re done.
