Would it be possible to provide a custom catalog in addition to the master catalog?  Anytime I upgrade, I loose the custom components that I have added to or modified in the master catalog of the previous version of Envisioneer.  If there were a custom catalog that opened along with the master catalog, any new BIM libraries or custom additions could be maintained in the custom catalog without being over-written by a newer version master catalog.  The custom catalog could be copied into a newer version of envisioneer, while being able to use the new master catalog and any of the added features in the new catalog.

If not, could you provide a tutorial on how to search and migrate custom components from an older catalog to a new version master catalog?  Or possibly suggest naming conventions to help with a migration.  embarassed

    Hi,
You can export your custom catalog items to the new master catalog using these steps

To get elements from old catalog to new catalog:

Go to file>catalogs>open catalog>select catalog you want to get elements from (Envisioneer 11 catalog)
    File>export>bim to catalog>select elements>transfer>ok
Save as (Envisioneer 11 Catalog bim file)
Open the new catalog (go to file>catalogs>open catalog>Envisioneer 13 master)
File>import> bim  to catalog >locate file you saved (Envisioneer 11 Catalog bim file)
    Select document folder>transfer>ok

You can also go to this link for more instruction on importing your bim files

    Hope this helps-
