Skillion or flat roof

    Hi there folks,

    I have Personal Architect v12 and am having trouble modelling my home which has a flat roof (well, a section which is a skillion roof and a section which is a shallow pitch ‘flat roof’ falling to box gutters on either side of the building.

    The Roof choices are very limited so I can’t get it looking the way it should.

    Does anyone have suggestions for me to try? I thought that if the program allowed me to ‘stick build’ the roof framing, I could then lay roof sheet on top to get the desired result.

    But I can’t see anywhere I can do this.

    Any insights would be greatly appreciated

    MUch better to insert roof planes then framing relative to each plane.
    Can you sketch up your layout & post a scan here as a Comment Image?

    Hi Chris,
    sounds like you may need to create a seperate building locations for the roofs.
    If you send your project to [email protected] they can take a look at it to see what would be a good route for you to take.

    Hi Chris
    In Personal Architect V12 can you not chang the roof framing what I know. But I think you can use surfaces to do what you wil done
