This blackout happens when trying to print. When I go back and delete elements on the worksheet one at a time, the black disappears when I delete the ‘EAST ELEVATION’ title. But, if I open the file up again and delete the offender, black returns.
I can recall an error like this years ago was something to do with text scaling. Can anyone confirm this and/or how to remedy it?
G’day Chris!
I had a case where Zoom to Fit showed some text much bigger then normal eg 25.4x or maybe 100x (can’t remember)
However I see you’re Printing Extents so that may not be the issue.
Do you have a pdf inserted on that sheet by any chance?

Hello Chris,
There may be hidden layer or hidden text/dimension within the file.
The steps our support department normally takes to resolve the “Black Botch” issue are listed below.
Edit/Select All to highlight everything within the worksheet.
Begin deselecting one by one in the worksheet by holding down the shift key until you get to the very end. If there is a hidden layer or text that had a layer set to simply delete and the black mark should no longer be visible.
If you are still experiencing difficulties with the project file, please email it to our support department and one of our technical team members will be glad to help you resolve the issue.
Have a wonderful day!

My solution was to save everything within the worksheet as a block, then insert the block on a new worksheet. Worked fine for this issue
