    Can you build a pergola with 6 posts instead of 4?

    Assuming you already have posts at the 4 corners . . .
    Just draw a construction line between the posts at opposite ends. Then select the 2 posts at one end, rt-click, Duplicate, then drag the copies to the midpoint of your construction line.

    You can also use the Portal Frames and combian with members, and you can customize your pergola the way you will have it
