More fun with gables…help!

Not sure if this is what you are getting at but this is an old project, so I went and colored all the roofs wacky colors so you see it better.the roofs will snap together if they are on the same pitch (but if I want an end result of an 8 or 10 pitch). When I don’t want them to snap together so every surface is separate I go and draw the first roof, at example. 1 pitch and change it to 8, the next at 3 and change it to 8 , and just keep on going. That way you can paint them all different, takes a little time and there might be a better way to do it, but that’s the only way I figured out.
