My house has a raised center (10’ walls) with a vaulted ceiling. I have windows above doors in the raised area. When I insert a new smartview it keeps overlapping the windows with doors below. It’s a big jumbled mess. For some reason it keeps showing the doors and windows as if they are on the same level. The windows are in a set of skewed knee walls that create the end gable. They are on a different level from the first floor. Frustrated.
How many locations are you using?
could be incorrect floor levels in Locations?
Are some windows at a different head height to others? If so you’ll need to elevate some . . . . rt-click on the window(s), elevate, enter the distance above floor level to window head
TIP!
Check that everything appears correct in 3D before you start generating SmartViews

3 levels. Foundation- Floor Plan – knee wall. Looks good in 3D. The knee walls are placed on top of 8ft walls to create the 10ft ceiling height. From there the knee walls on the gables are skewed up to create the gables. The windows are a good 3ft above the doors. Does this issue have anything to do with the small dialogue box on the right side of the layers section. It’s got the levels listed in it. Don’t know what it’s for. It’s got a check box that is checked.

aha! Now I think I understand. You’re inserting a 2D plan SmartView, but elements on other Locations are displayed.
