Using Envisioneer v14 – While trying to incorporate an island with overhang, I gathered the only way I could get the counter layout the way I wanted was to create the counter in sketchup, and import into the program. However this presented a new challenge as I then could not insert a sink into the imported object. It there a setting or a workaround to get a sink to snap in? Or do I have to draw up a sink in sketchup and import that as well?

    Thanks, Chris

    Using 13 here…

For island sinks I usually locate a small island base cabinet where I want the sink, with counter-top, and build the rest of the island & counter around it. Kind of a clunky approach but it usually works out ok.

When creating a island I usually the counter top options  (Under interiors tab and then counter top) that way it let’s me choose the shape I want . And then you can put sinks and cabinets below to you’re liking.
