Is there a way to show exposed framing for attic walls and basement cripple walls, while maintaining the siding on the exterior wall surfaces?

    Hello,
You can get the look of exposed framing by using these two methos.

Use members tool to insert members for wall framing individually. (this would work well for the basement)
On your 2D Floor plan in model space:1. insert>members>choose member from catalog2. select inserted member>right click>properties>Edit size3. select member>right click>duplicate4. you can manually create your cripple wall
Insert a member in between the wall framing and exterior surface of your exterior walls.
On your 2D Floor plan in model space:1. insert your exterior walls2. insert a member the length of your exterior wall3. select the member>right click>properties>change height to height of wall4. this will act as the wall sheathing5. make the interior wall surface glass 6. turn on the wall framing in the view filter.
