animation rendering

    How long should I expect a rendering of an animation avi file?  It was taking over 48 hours and still did not complete, It’s not a large project, and I have tried it on two different computers, with no difference. What could make it take so ridiculously long? I am running on V14.

    What are the specifications of the machines involved? including free diskspace for each drive . . .

    What are your animation settings?

    I have a DELL with a Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-9750h CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
    RAM: 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
    System: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
    According to CADSOFT published requirements this is more than ample.
    I have been using CADSOFT since V10 and have never had so many issues and crashing.
    My old ALIENWARE laptop did a great job at rendering as did my desktop with the older versions
    of CADSOFT.
    settings: Ray Trace Animation
    MJPEG Commpressor
    Frame Rate:24
    size: 1024×768
    I have sent the file to tech support to review. Any help would be appreciated!
