You can choose to rasterize the file so that the text is displayed, or leave vector geometry intact so that you can still snap to linework once the file is inserted. This also permits you to import much larger PDF files than accounted for previously.

Framing and Wall Panelization:  For detailed construction and manufacturing

Automatic Wall Panels
Every framed wall in your model is automatically considered a “panel”, and panel diagrams are generated automatically from your existing wall layout. Panel breaks occur at wall intersections, and you can further break walls to create more panels if desired. Many automated features make panel definition easy, including:

  • Auto Tagging
Walls are tagged automatically as you draw them, creating panels as you go. Set up a tagging system beforehand, or customize tags and panel names afterward. You can add a prefix or suffix, or append location information to panel tags.

  • Auto Break
For quick and precise control of panel lengths use the Auto Break tool to break one or multiple walls into specific lengths.

  • Dynamic Editing
Wall panel lengths can be adjusted dynamically by editing the dynamic dimension that appears along the length of a wall and specifying the wall end that you want to adjust.
