If one wins does he or she win the latest version of Envisoneer V8? I would like to enter to try and win that version since it is the only way I could acquire that version. I have read up on it and it sounds amazing. I use to work for a panelized house manufacturer so this version would be a gods send for me.

The winner receives an upgrade. You must own a licensed version of Envisioneer to win and the model and rendering must be completed in that copy of the software. So if you currently own Envisioneer v7 you will receive the v8 upgrade.

Hi Chantale sorry to bother you again but I wanted to know I have already won once and have been loving the version 7.2 but now that version 8 is out and it now works like a panelized software and I have been doing some work for a company that builds that way can I enter again or not. Wanted to ask before I went a submitted my bedroom design.
Thank you
Louis

Hi Louis
You can only win once. But we would love to see your sample if you want to send it in we can put it up on our facebook page for you.

Hi Louis,
Winning something is nice, but submitting your work to show off the abilities of the program is just as important. Design software that is built around a good user base, who are proud of showing their accomplishments, results in that software becoming even better.
As a user I submit as often as I can, no matter if I've won or not. I try to submit my best work so that others can see what the program is capable of.
We all win if the program is well represented.

Thank you for your response. I will get my work finished up and submitted. Did not mean to come across as selfish at all I am grateful that I had the chance to submit my work for a chance at an upgrade earlier, was just asking. This new upgrade sounds like the answer that many designers have been asking for.
Thank you
Louis

Hi Louis,
I was just 'playing' with the panel settings. Each wall is assigned a number and when clicked you have a variety of option settings availalbe.
You can see in the attached I turned off two dimensions , giving just an overall setting , to clean things up. I also like how the dims are set in in 'layout string', so you could actually print them out on 8.5 x 11 sheets with the layout dims show spacing, not by 16" o/c but by consecutive dims from one fixed end or start point.
Each wall also has Tags listed below the drawing layout that reference the letters in the drawing. Header / Plate / Stud .... Count & Length are included.
