Demonstrated in Envisioneer 7.2
Thanks to Nick Gannon for the Draft Sight tip.
Whether you're in a model view or on a worksheet, ensure that no IP such as titleblocks, logos etc are displayed.
Export the first view and name it such that you can easily identify it. In this case mine was 1111 for Engineer.dwg Continue exporting until your consultant's requirements are met.
Download DraftSight Free from Dassault Systems.
http://www.3ds.com/products/draftsight/download-draftsight/ It's about 80MB
Install DraftSight. Start DraftSight and on the TOOLS menu, select OPTIONS. Under Drawing Support, set "Drawing Files Location" to the folder in which you saved your exported dwg files.
OPEN the dwg you want to contain all the information your consultant requires.
You should see a Model tab, Layout1 and Layout2. Both Layouts have a viewport containing a RealLiveView of your exported data. If you've exported more than 3 dwgs, rt-click on a tab, MOVE OR COPY - select MOVE TO END and COPY SHEET. Repeat until you have sufficient layouts available. Rename each layout appropriately by double-clicking it's tab.
On the model tab, zoom out so you can insert the remaining exported dwg files. INSERT - BLOCK - BROWSE (opens the folder in which you exported your dwg files), Select the next exported dwg you wish to place on the layout, enable Specify Position Later, your dwg will appear attached to your cursor with the origin bottom left.
Repeat until all dwg files have been inserted.
Now that all your data (including all dimstyles) is in the dwg,
TOOLS - OPTIONS - DRAFTING STYLES - DIMENSION - FILTER=Styles in drawing - (select each style in the list above in turn - LINEAR DIMENSION - PRECISION . . All your dims should now display at the same precision as they did in Envisioneer.
It always pays to zoom in & pan around to double check. I found the symbol for IXL Tastics in a schedule on the floor plan wasn't scaled the same as the actual items on the plan.
I had to rt-click, EDIT BLOCK - select 2D Plan_6 - OK then move the wayward symbol. rt-click and Close Component.
If an entity's linetype wasn't set to ByLayer in Envisioneer, you may need to reset their linetype. Most of mine made the translation successfully but several changes in slab thickness on the Floors layer didn't, as did pad footings.
Check that all viewports are the correct size and scale.
Now proceed to the 2nd layout, dbl-click in the viewport to activate it, then PAN until your 2nd dwg comes into view. Repeat until all Layouts are complete.
