I need some guidence on selecting the right componets to produce a brick peir and curtain wall type foundation. I see block and concrete type and framed wall brick but no brick by itself. Any help would be great since 95% of my remodeling work is based on the type of foundation design. Also need to info on 8" brick type foundation for sided type house.

Hi Jim,

I don't know all the details of what you need, but if you go to ICF Foundation walls with Brick veneer you can select the 9" option set to Masonry above, and right click > AddElement

In the pop up you can set Core a Width to 4" .
Set Exterior Surface to 4" with 1/2" air space
All others to 0.

This will show on plan as a 'double' thickness wall.

I assume it could be used to create the Brick Pies, draw a square out with the same walls. But I'd need more details on how the 'curtain wall' is laid out. I assume piers for suport and a brick wall between them.

Just wish those Yankee law makers would put illustrations in their documents.

I'd be guessing it's what we called 9" brick and piers until the '70's when we metricated.
ie 4-6 courses of 9" work then single skin with attached piers at 6' max spacing . .

@OP, a piccy plz

this is how I envision the piers with 'curtain wall' , from brick.
