Cadsoft FacebookTM Design Pro Challenge

One free Envisioneer upgrade per month is the prize for the best design created using Envisioneer design software.

•   Begins the first Monday of each month

•   Ends the Last Monday of each month

Beginning October 2011, Cadsoft will host a Design Challenge for clients using Envisioneer. Submissions should be made to support@cadsoft.com and should include one rendering.  Each month includes a different Design Challenge noted below:

•   October - Front building exterior
•   November - Outdoor living space
•   December -  Family room
•   January -  Kitchen
•   February - Bathroom
•   March - Garage
•   April - Dining room
•   May - Home office
•   June – Games room
•   July -  Addition or renovation
•   August - Master bedroom
•   September – Users choice

Vote on your favorite submittal using the “Like” button on our FacebookTM page and the most “Likes” during the month will be the winner of that Design Challenge. You must "Like" Cadsoft to submit an entry and you must have done the image in Envisioneer and own a copy to be eligible for the upgrade prize. Winners from each month will receive a free upgrade to the newest version of Envisioneer or the next version released if the client already has the most recent version. You can only win once.

All designs submitted may be used in Cadsoft marketing campaigns with designer’s credits, company logo, and/or company name and no advance permission is required.

Please submit in jpg format only so it is easier to upload to Facebook.

Submissions will be posted on our Facebook page starting October 2nd. The first Monday of the month until the last Monday of the month. You can email them to support@cadsoft.com now but we will hold them until the 2nd of October.

I have a few questions as this contest seems pretty vague to me. Can I use any version of Envisioneer?, still using v4. Can I add some custom accessories to my model using Sketchup? Can I export my model to an external renderer? Can I post process my render in Photoshop? What do I submit, a bld and a jpeg?

Hi Mike,

I don't represent the company but I'd say it would be ideal if v7 was used but I don't see any reason why other versions couldn't be used.

Anything that represents what the program can do is acceptable, so import of Skp files would be OK but rendering should be done in Envisioneer. JPG format is required.

Don't import a whole Skp model, just accesories. I've used Trees / Cars.

I'm sure Cadsoft will further clarify for you.

How do I separate the Tips from the Photos in Facebook. I see I can select Photos and all of them are in one place but the Tips seem to be randomly mixed in and I don't know how to get a list of all of them.

Hi Jack

Click on one of the photos and it will allow you to scroll through the rest. Just move your cursor to the right of the picture and an arrow will appear. Nice way to see all of the great entries we have received since day 1 of the contest.
