Here is a method to make sure that when you create walls in a roof space, the walls will follow the roof  line.
Firstly, create your walls on the ground floor, making sure that AUTO EXTEND wall top and bottom option is selected.
If you are going to have other walls in the same area on the ground floor, it will be best to draw the attic walls first so they do not clash.

When you have completed them check with a camera view to make sure that they follow the roof line.
Finally, lift the walls up to the upper floor by shift selecting all of the walls, then right click and ELEVATE them to the level of the upper floor.
They need to stay on the ground floor location in order to work.

Anyone who has tried this method has probably realised by now that, unfortunately the walls show up in plan view on the ground location.
This really needs looking at by Cadsoft, because you cannot even draw an invisible wall without it showing up in plan views.  Invisible walls :read Demolition wall

It needs a botton to say auto extend to roof and then a drop down tab to select the building location or the roof.

I would do your example by having 2 building locations, one for the ground floor and one for the roof space walls. Add the roof to the ground floor and then duplicate to the roof space location. Then elevate the roof space roof to the same height as the one on the ground floor. Then both levels will auto extend.

Another way would be to use 2 building locations, but only add the roof to the roof space location. Duplicate the ground floor external walls to the roof space location and auto extend. This is probable the better option.
