Importing Version 5 .bld files
«

" Good morning,
I have imported (opened) a Version 5 Bld file with the latest Version 6. In version 5, the levels I created in my drawing (foundation, first floor, dormer) could be seen as separate views. In version 6, all levels appear in all views when selected from the navigation bar. If I try to add or edit a building element on the ground floor that intersects (for example) an element from the dormer level these elements will snap together.
Has anyone seen this? Is there a way to re-separate the levels?
thanks,
Michael"

" Hi Michael
If you prefered the View tabs of the previous version you can turn them back on:
1. Go to Settings - Program Settings
2. Under the Workspace tab, put a checkmark in the "" View Tabs"" option.
Your view tabs will reappear.

" Chantale,
thanks for the information. Unfortunately viewing the tabs does not resolve the issue. The problem is all the levels of my drawing are now on the same level.
In Version 5 I counstructed a drawing with three levels: a foundation, a ground floor, and a dormer (roof). All three of these levels now appear and act as if they were one level.
Repairing the project also does not resolve the issue. These should be separate levels and now they are seen as one.
thanks,
Michael"

" Hi Michael
Attach the drawing to a posting or email it to me:
support@cadsoft.com
so I can take a look at it here.
