Envisioneer version 9.1, an update to 9.0, is now ready to download. A link is at the bottom of this post, but please read this post in its entirety before installing.

This is a new install, you will have to UNINSTALL v9.0 before installing 9.1. It is a complete new install because of the amount of files that have been updated.

Here are some tips for updating to 9.1

1.       Envisioneer 9.1 CAN'T be installed on a system that has v9.0 installed. Meaning you  have to uninstall version 9.0 prior to installing version 9.1.  Read the “Saving Customized Files Before Uninstalling.pdf” . Read it to ensure you COPY all of the files that may have been customized  into a separate folder outside of the default 9.0 install folders. You don't want to lose anything. Read the document and call us if you want to double check anything.
2.       You may have a highly customized Envisioneer catalog full of your company products, sku numbers, custom blocks, textures and product data. That catalog is extremely important. You don’t want to have to recreate it again after all of your hard work. So please ensure it is backed up – now would be an excellent time to save an additional copy on a flash drive or on a network just to ensure you have a backup somewhere that you can always use if something happens to your main copy.
3.       Don’t hesitate to contact our support center if you have any questions during the install/uninstall procedure. The support staff are dedicated to you and will guide you through the process. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm(Eastern). 1-888-223-7638. Press 2 at the automated message for support. We are not open on the weekend, so if you are about to install and it is a Saturday, please ensure you are comfortable with an uninstall/install process before continuing. :-)

This update has many fixes to current commands plus some bonus new features - this is an update not an upgrade so it is about updating what is there not adding new features. It is an important update that I hope you install as soon as possible. The release notes are available on the download page.
