Lines are members painted yellow, Curbs are custom profiles created in profiles library, attached to thin walls as baseboards.  This allows you to curve them.  Otherwise members can't be curved.  Parking lot is a concrete floor, ramp is a surface elevated on one side.

Use the decking tool and replace the framing with steel beams and wood deck with asphalt.  Use walls and roof if you want it covered.

This is one of the newer ways of integrating an Envisioneer model into Adobe 3D format.  Embed a 3D model in a blueprint sized sheet.  The links on the blueprint move the model for you.  You simply print your plan to a pdf file like usual, then in Adobe 3D you use the insert tool to capture the 3D content right into the document. What is really handy about this one, is we have the as built shown first, then the hotlinks show the changed building right in the same location. Give it a try!

Here is a workaround to change your auto floor.

Default for envisoneer is a wooden floor. if you wat to change the auto floor selection to say a 4" slab. Do the folowing

In model view you go to tools> design wizards>house builder
go through to building elements. select the floor type you want.

The program remembers the last floor type you selected in the house builder wizard.

Thanks chantale for the tip during her walls webinair!!!!!!!!

thanks.

I finally got around to doing this.  I have been thinking about it for a long time.  I have created trim profiles that are attached to foundation walls to automatically insert my drain tiles, or form-a-drain (it's popular here) wall waterproofing, and gravel fills.  I have created a wall that is the same dimension as my footing would be and use it instead of a strip footing.  That way I can attach either my round drain or form-a-drain.  I attach the gravel fill as a baseboard to the foundation wall and offset it down 14" to have the notch set where I want it on the footing.  I attach a 1/2 X 7'-3" custom trim as waterproofing to the wall as well and offset that down 4" from the bottom since I extend my foundation wall 4" to compensate for the slab thickness.
Anyway, trim profiles are very versatile!

Not sure if everyone knows this or not but i'll post it anyway cause I only just worked it out after 12months of using this software.  (Maybe I am a bit slow  )

The properties option is available when using a selection window so long as you manually selected the last item, ie hold down shift and click on it.

So you can select a large number of walls for example in one go then hold down shift and manually select the last wall then edit the properties of all the all walls selected.

 Cool

Also note that if you have just members (say) displayed, you can Edit - Select All, then Shift to deselect one then still holding Shift & reselect it the Properties option magically displays in the context menu.

Frustrated with the order members display in a schedule?
I tried replacing them in the order I wanted but wasn't successful.
However, I created a new location for my PFCs (20m above the existing)
Selecting each member in the preferred order I then copied to the new location. Delete the members from the original then reset the RL for the new location 20m lower.
