" The two opposing end walls of my project are each 41  long. One has 3 openings (doors & windows), the other has 2. When I apply auto exterior dimensions (overall and opernings o.c.), the individual dimensions on one wall are 4 -11"" , 14 -3"" , 16 -10""  and 4 -11"" . On the opposite wall they are 16 -2"" , 19 -10""  and 4 -11"" . In each case the increments add up to only 40 -11""  instead of 41 . What am I missing?

The only suggestion I can make is check and see if those walls are actually 41  long.  To do this just select the wall that runs into the 41  wall and this will bring up the dimensons for that wall.  If the dimensions are not 41  exterior dimensions you can chnage them there by clicking on the dimension.  Remember though that the wall you select is the wall that will be moved to make up the difference in the change.

" That' s definitely not it! The wall lenghts were specified with the commander to be exactly 41  and that is the overall lenght indicated when I apply auto exterior dimensions. The error is apparently generated by the program. I have also run a project repair but it does not fix the discrepancy. I definitely need you to provide a solution and not shrug this off as you did a previous program bug I brought to you attention.

" Good Morning Claus,

I do apologize for the overlook on your last post about the casement windows opening directions.  I must have missed that post.  To answer that question for you, I did put it in as a bug and the only way to fix that in your drawings is to switch the swings for plan view and then switch them back correctly for elevation view.  (so the right will become left and the left will become rignt for plan view drawings).

Now for your dimension concern:  Can you post your email address up here so I can send you an email. This way I can get you to email me your drawing and then I will have a look at it and see if I can spot the problem.

 Thanks Claus,
 Nick"
