Hi Merv,

How would this work with Envisioneer? WHich format would you suggest and can the images be converted into catalog items or just inserted as images manually?

G'day davmor+!
iirc the only way I could use them was FILE - IMPORT - PHOTOBOARD - & use the billboard option.
I don't usually landscape - only played around with it on my son's place
I used .tga
Once imported I was then able to add the element to the catalogue but couldn't find a way to just add a bunch of tga's direct in Catalogue Manager.
Hope Nick can provide a more direct method. But if he's refining "live views on worksheets" for v6 I'd prefer he just keeps on with what he's doing  Cheesy

and they only save to catalogue as photoboards - I couldn't turn them into plants so one could "age" them or adjust for seasonal influences

G'day,

thought I should update you on the plants, they are now available as BIM files for Envisioneer v5 & 6. Once imported into Envisioneer they will show up in the plant catalog - but any scaling has to be done via the texture settings (they can't be tied to the encyclopedia)

There are a couple of free plants available on this page:

G'day Andrew !
thanks for that. Do you have any Royal palms in the pipeline? Seems the catalogue palms look like they've just survived cyclone Ului.  Embarrassed (my client doesn't need a permanent reminder)

G'day,

Once I get some of the more generic Oz trees out the way (Eucalyptus varieties etc), Queensland will be getting some special attention. I have a few tropicals including palm shots taken from Queensland which are in my job folder, there is also a mature Bottle tree, Morten Bay Fig, and a Leopard tree (non native) which you should be familiar with.

Half the problem is trying to identify what variety the palms actually are.

Hopefully this winter will be mild for you, we are in need of rain down here in NZ (I`m on tank water)
